What does Dr. C do?

Dr. C is a Chiropractic Physician, that is, one who utilizes Chiropractic -

"...a natural (that does not employ drugs, radiation or surgery) healing system founded in 1895 when Dr. BJ Palmer found a misaligned vertebra in the neck of a patient who suffered from deafness.

Dr. BJ Palmer corrected the misalignment and Harvey Lillard (the patient) regained his hearing, going on to have normal hearing for the rest of his life. Dr. BJ Palmer continued his study of the spine as an entryway to the Nerve System of the body, and later called this Art, Science, and Philosophy "Chiropractic," from the Greek "Cheir" (hand) and "Prakticos" (practice or 'done by')."

To detect and monitor Interference (Subluxation) to the Central Nerve System of patients, Dr C performs both classic - Orthopedic, Neurological, and (when needed) Radiographic testing, as well as the most modern testing - Surface Electromyography (sEMG) and Infra-Red Thermal Scanning (using technology certified by the Space Foundation).

Dr. C's correction of Subluxation is done either manually or through instrument adjusting.

Dr. C also espouses the practice of Physiotherapeutics and Rehabilitation, Postural Correction, and Modalities (such as Electrical Muscle Stimulation, Cryotherapy and Low Level Laser) in addition to Musculoskeletal Homeopathy in his treatment of patients to better create an environment for them to regain and maintain their performance and health.

How does Dr. C treat patients?

• As a Palmer College of Chiropractic Graduate, Dr. C utilizes the "Palmer Package" of Techniques as augmented with Rehabilitative Physiotherapy and other techniques:

• Thompson ™ Terminal Point Technique - (another gentle technique where the table "drops" an inch or so to minimize the amount of force used by the Doctor while using the patient's body weight to maximize joint motion -- and consequently, the amount of information being sent to the patient’s nervous system.)
